2lt with rs day light and fog lamp question!!

Hey just want to ask, my car sticker shows daylight/ and fog light. But there is no button for the fog lamps. Called gm and says maybe had an error in the sticker. Is it possible?

the dealer suggested to call gm because they too were not sure. So even it was indicated that there is a fog light, if you have RS package there will be no button on it??

Do you have the RS package? If so then there is no fog light switch option, they function as your day time running lights.

Yes, you do have fog lights and you don't get a switch.

I was wondering when a Fog light/DRL thread would come up again. If you look at the sticker it should read Fog Lights under standard equipment. Under Optional equipment you should see the RS package and it's inclusions should say HID headlamps. The owners manual says that with HID headlamps you lose the foglight switch as they run as DRLs (because you can't run the HIDs at reduced intensity)

It's better than another Manual vs. Auto thread...

Yeah cause we all know manuals are better.

The RS package supersedes the the standard fog lights and they are replaced by day time running lights and there is no switch.

Not an error. As others have mentioned, if you have the RS appearance package then the "fog lights" are Daytime Running Lights and you don't have a button in the cabin to turn them off/on. They are automatically turned off/on depending on the light outside.

You can buy an aftermarket harness and switch to turn them into fog lights if you really want them to function that way.

I'm happy just to have the option to run just the halos with the parking lamps.
