I wish, I'd be willing to sell my 2013 1LE if I wasn't going to lose a lot of money on it.

I don't see why a 13 should be better or worth more than any other one... I wonder if some of it has to do with the crappy 6th Gen sales & people are buying up the used Camaro's instead? But I would think that would apply to earlier years too.

Or it could be it was the newest version of the oldest styling.... before the 14 refresh that not everyone likes though I think the front and hood on the 14-15 SS looks bada$$...

I think '15 was the best year. Why?

1. It was the last year for the 5th gen.

2. The midcycle update, which was introduced the year before, only lasted two
short model years. As time goes on, this will make them more rare than the '10-'13's which looked basically the same for 4 model years.

3. SS's got a cool looking standard hood scoop.

4. Base/non RS package three segment tail lights look similar to the '69 1st gen which the 5th gen was originally based off.

5. RS/SS rear spoiler was more aggressive. The Z28 spoiler was even more aggressive and with the wickerbill option was about as good as it got from the factory.

I agree with the OP on the pricing though...it's crazy!! I haven't looked outside of the ZL1 package, but you can find '15 with <6k miles cheaper than some '12 that I've seen. Pricing is all over the board and I've used a 500mi radius in my search criteria. Only "consistent" thing I've seen is any year '12-'14 with "higher" miles (>20k+) seem to hover around $32k-$34k. Outside of that, seeing $38k-$40k for anything '12-'14 isn't uncommon and most '15s are in the $42k+ range. Now granted, these are ASKING PRICES and not necessarily selling prices, but still ... lol

My '12 was a steal when I got it

76K hard miles and it just keeps on truckin'. I agree though my favorite years are '10-'13 in terms of looks. At first I wanted a '13 for NPP, but my '12 is a whole lot louder now than it was from the factory so I solved the issue of not enough sound lol

2013 is the sweet spot, period. Having said that, all 5th gens are excellent choices to own!

Buy what you love and love what you buy.
