My SW 1LT is the same. All of the "plastic" that is painted SW appears slightly "warmer" in color than the "sheetmetal". It could be that the surface is not as "hard" and reflects the light a little different or maybe a "flex agent" in the paint for the plastic causes it to reflect the light a little differently. It is not so bad as to want to complain about it, but it is noticible to me.

Mine were like that also went to dealer and picked the shop I wanted and dealer gave ok to fix. Got it done when my heritage grill came in. Looks much better now.

No Problems

Some friends had their SW repainted for this. So my wife went over ours from every angle and could see no difference. It is two different surfaces but should not be a visible difference. I'm sure if you want GM will make it right. 100,000 cars can't all be perfect! oh yeah, by the way SUMMIT WHITE RULES! I would not trade it for anything!

I've noticed a slight difference btwn the front n rear bumper areas and the rest of the car. No noticable difference with the gas cap. No one else has noticed it but me at this point. Not bad enough IMHO to do anything unless the color difference gets worse....

Very common problem. My pearl white Acura TL was way off, MANY complained about it. If its TOO hard to handle, sell it and get a black one, THEN you will REALLY have a fun time washing it 3 times a day.

I had a pearl white 5th gen Prelude SH and this was not an issue.

Good to know if there is an issue the dealers are correcting.

Thanks to all who provided their feedback. Misery luvs company, so I don't feel so bad about it anymore. The dealer did get back and said it is quite common on certain colors because the paint used on bumpers is different than the body because it should flex somewhat if you get tapped. He found the fuel door difference curious, though. As many of you pointed out, I am the only one who notices it, so just move on. The car (and the color) is absolutely awesome! Happy cruisin' to all!
