E85 questions...

I'm thinking about going E85 but what would I need to install? New injectors? Fuel pump? Fuel rail? And I'm doing a cam and getting my heads ported should I do this all at the same time and get a tune at the end? Also what are the pros beside of a power gain? And are there any cons?

Reading up on it a bit, I see if you redo your injectors and tune it correctly, more power / torque is possible...

Isn't E85 cheaper but gives u less MPG?

Just do a flex fuel conversion. You'll need more fuel pump and injector to run it due to it using 30% more fuel. But you could run e85-or 93. Dave Steck has a write up about it.

E85 is more beneficial for force induction guys than N/A guys, I think you'll gain some power, but it's not going to be a significant amount.

It really helps the forced guys because of it's resistance to detonation and it's also alcohol so it cools down the combustion as well allowing them to make more power.

I think you'll find without being supercharged or turbo charged this isn't worth the time and effort.
