So, my tires are arriving tomorrow. I have the wheels already. Just cut the rollerskates off last weekend and the wheels fit great.

Went with 17" RaceStars and a bias ply 28x4.5 skinny from M&H. Some upcoming dates for the strip, I'm ready for an 11.1x!!
You guys with your automatics! I kid, man, after the last two seasons of breaking so much of the driveline and fighting the gearbox I'm about ready for one of my own.

Good luck, can't wait to see what you run. I think you could tickle the tens with that setup in the right air and track prep.

I decided to auto swap my 1LE after burning through 3 Centerforce DYAD's. Well worth the money for the RPM stage 5 I went with.

I wish I had noticed sooner, I have been fighting myself all season.

Anyways, here's the video if ya'll are interested. It sure sounds fast on the short little tires, too bad it actual is pretty slow still.

Nice PB way to bring the season to a close!

Dang you guys and your crazy air! It got just under 1,000' here when I ran my PB last month - and that's about as good as it gets. Another 2,000' down would sure make a difference. Good luck fellas - lets see some new slips!

Got my new ET Street R bias plys mounted and have shed 60 lbs in wheel and tire weight from the previous setup (of 17 rear DRs and stock front 20s) What is it again, 1 lb of rotational mass = 4-5 lbs of static mass? Excited to see the difference!

I think rotational mass is approximately like losing 2x the amount of static weight. It is very dependent on at what radius you lose the mass too. I was hoping for more of a noticeable pickup when I went from my 67lbs per rear tire 18x11 setup to the ~40lbs/tire 17x9.5 setup. I also started taking the seats out then. I only appreciated about a 2-3mph pick up and 2 tenths of ET - and that was with dropped almost 3" of tire height for better gearing out the back.

I still need to do the fronts, maybe there is another tenth there. I hope it's more of a gain for you - I think you got a setup that'll easily go tens on the right day.

Thanks!

Roto Fab CAI, Stainless works 1 7/8" LT's, Bo White PTB, 10% UDP, Circle D 3200 TC, Zex Nitrous 125 HP, tuned by Dynosteve @ RDP.

Also has catch can, line lock, and flowmaster exhaust.

Rear end-- TL's & TA's, Eaton True Trac, 3.91, DSS 1000hp 1/2 shafts.

MT ET street R 305/45/18 rear, M & H 17/4.5 28" radials up front. The rears are 29", a bit tall for a car around 500 rwhp, planning to switch to 17's and ET Street R 305/45/17's (28") by next spring.

Car has ran a best of 7.27 (1/8th mile) w/ no weight reduction. I really don't care as much about ET as I do about reaction time.....best so far is a .003, still hoping one day for that elusive perfect light, only now it will take .0000.....

Thank you! 17/18” Weld RTS drag pack for the track. Full weight meaning 4050 lbs without my 230 lbs sitting in it. There are several 3800-3900 lb and under stripped down 5th Gens on the forum.
