Oil all over my diff and rear bumper!!!!

I was driving in the freeway and i thought it was my tire that popped. When i get out i see oil splattered on the back of my car. I slowly drove home but clanking went away but under the car, i saw there was a bunch of oil around the diff. Now when I drive there's this sort of humming sound. Can anybody help please. No oil leaking now

Check the level. There may be none to leak.

Time for a rebuild of the rear end, hopefully not too much damage but you will definitely need to get that diff apart and see what's going on

The axle seals leak after a while, or you changed the fluid and put synthetic in.
There is a TSB for certain year axle seals needing changed after changing the DIFF
fluid with 100% synthetic. My driver side axle seal is leaking, a little, but it just
whips on the side for now. If yours is all over the place, then look for cracks or hole
from damage. Check the axle seals, there will be oil on the side or sides. Can also
be the cover gasket, but the seals go first.

The noise will be from no to low gear oil.

Sound like you possibly need the rear diff repaired like immediately
