To Roof or not to Sunroof? That is the question...

I didn't have a thought about getting one and now contemplating ... What are your guys thoughts ? Does it change the roofline ? Does it cut that much inside headroom?

I'm wrapping my roof gloss black so the roof won't even be noticed ...

If just if I could see one in the flesh....

The reverse Mohawk is not possible with a sunroof. The mechanics of the roof do take up a certain amount of space. I believe you will like the blacked out roof better without the glass in the center of it. For that matter if you're not getting the CF exposed hood, just do the stripe package.

I'm driving a 16 2SS right now with the sunroof. I'm a bit over 6 foot, and it's tight. I won't be getting the sunroof when I order my ZL1. I find that a rarely use the sunroof, so I won't really miss it, and will gladly take the extra head room.

Yeah I'm getting the exposed carbon weave so no stripe package for me. Blacked out roof and wing. Looks like my mind is made up. No sunroof for me. 6'1" so that right there is a potential issue. Thanks guys!

None for me. I don't like the black hole in the middle of the roof on a low car that you can see. And I don't like all black roofs in general. CF package for me.

Love my sunroof and use it all the time, also when having nothing windows down you will hear a thumping sometimes, open sunroof and that goes away

Always go for the moon roof. At 6' tall, no issues whatsoever and love having it open.

Personally I will be getting the sunroof. I like the option of having it open on a nice day. I don't use it much but I like that it's there.

I am use to driving with t tops or vert in most of my 3rd gens, even my hard tops feel pretty open. I think I would have to go vert if I would get one as even a sunroof seems too enclosed to me... All what you are use too and what you like, the high belt line of the 5th and 6th gens I haven't yet been able to get use to

In my mind at least they could be a maintenance issue down the road but a sunroof kills the roof lines and reduces head clearance.
