Use the OEM Ceramics with them, just start with a new set!

I got the brake pads from a buddy he used them for a few hundred miles didn't like them. I mean only paid $50 bucks for the fronts. He said he did the breakin procedure but knowing him he just drove it LOL. Oh well, I really just needed to get the front rims off and mount the welds and I couldn't do that with the rollerskate brakes.

My alignment must have been screwed up the front tires are all worn super uneven and the one is leaking air pretty bad. It had 5psi in it before I dismounted it. Tire shop said its leaking around the bead and the shape the tires are in they just need to be replaced.
Damn! That's cheap man. That's worth the price and squeal for the time being, LOL. At least when it's time to change pads, you can go with new rotors and pads to ensure you bed them perfectly yourself, and with new equipment, which should likely help.

Thanks and LOL. You know I was a little dissapointed myself . Really it goes to show what a proper tire setup will do. I mean it was 30 degrees out on those DRs and it hooked right up when I hit it in 3rd. 1st and 2nd might have been a different story

Haha well depends on how much power your gonna make man. I'd run some 555Rs as I hear they are good in the inclement weather if need be. The Mickey Thompsons I got on here now are just excellent.

Yeah, if you plan to go with Dr's, and still want to drive the car often, and have good traction, but don't plan on driving in heavy rain, the 555r's are probably the best bet. That's my tire of choice within the next few months. Some people drive them in the rain too and say they are fine, but I don't want to risk it.

That would most likely be the 555Rs. I have seen some people get like 12-15k out of a set which is great for a drag radial. The Mickey's im running are so soft they are about 6k mile tires but they just grab and go so its one or the other.

Food for thought the guy I got my welds from made a touch over 800 to the tire like myself he went to 05Rs on a 20" rim he said it sucked. Major reason you can hook it up on smaller rims is the tire compound and the sidewall.

Ill be right at 500hp to the wheels after this setup. My stock tires were better than these.

I was also looking at Nitto NT05. They are the street version but look like drag radials.

Donno i need to do some serious looking into tires. Nitto has like 6 different versions of 3 tires haha

Ah I'd just get some Michilen Pilot Super Sports. TBH I made 492 to the tire cam only. Granted I probably didn't make as much torque as you will with the blower but I'm sure you'd be able to hook it up with them. 650+ you need a DR.
