Fort Worth Area favor

I bought a 2012 2SS in Fort Worth, I'm going to pick it up tomorrow (8/5/14) and I live 6 hours away, only problem is the rear tires are BALD, but luckily the front tires are brand new so I need to rotate them, but I'm using all of my saving to put the down payment, would anyone in that are have the tools needed to rotate them that would be willing to help me out? I would say I would buy you a case if beer or something but I am only 18

You can not rotate Front to Back as you have a staggered setup. The rears are wider than the fronts with a larger tire size as well.

I mean technically I guess you can, but I am sure it would drive like crap with having smaller wheel/tire in the rear..

On a side note, Ft. Worth is a huge place. Where are you picking up from, I have the means to swap them out if needed.

I would talk to the dealer and see what they can work out on a new set of rears. What are you going to do once get home??

Check out Lonestar Camaro on Facebook. They are the local Chapter in Fort Worth. One of the members might have a rear set parting with and willing to help.

You might be faced with more $$ problems driving on them since not made to do that

Sounds to me like you don't really need this car if you can't afford tires and have $20 left. Nothing on these cars is cheap, sounds to me like you should buy something cheaper and easier to maintain.

Plus any dealer selling you a car with tires so bald they can't be driven is prob not a car you want to buy.

I make an okay amount of money, plenty to make the $450 monthly payment but I've been saving up to put the biggest down payment I could ($5,000) and also it was a single person dealership with few cars
