problem with motor

hey everyone,

I hope I chose the proper subforum for my problem. I am repainting the bumper for my vehicle. I was really very surprised when the compressor stopped working. I checked the motor, so it looks like the problem is not resolvable because it was a cheap china made motor. If you know what motors are good, please leave your comments in the thread. I can spend up to $200

Who is good in technical questions? Please, say can I mount it
https://www.mrosupply.com/motors/ac-...s3ed56cfl_weg/ through a single phase? I looked through the specs but I don’t know if it works with a help of VFD..

No experience with paint tools here. But maybe some of the painters will chime in with their tool of choice or motor in your case.

good luck with the re-paint.

What frame size is the bad motor? The size should be on the motor name plate? Do you have 3 phase available or do you need a single phase motor? If it is a single phase and a capacitor start, it could be just the capacitor.
