I like em.
Very nice ride sir ! If you don't mind me asking, what rear diffuser is that you have, looks awesome. I have the 1LE diffuser and am looking for something more aggressive for my quad exhaust. Thanks

Very nice! And I see we have the same taste in the gradient flame stripes. Awesome look.

Mine are ABS plastic and I would guess they only weigh about 1- maybe 2 pounds. Very light.

Thank you! Yup American Car Craft is 20% off through the holidays too and tempting as always...…… Bought my Mrt louvers from MRT direct myself, weight seems like maybe 5 lbs. I have had to reattach over time the Lock down double sided tape over the years to the bottom unlatching devices, But its nice being able to clean up under the louvers and they are tight and no restriction to visability just a nice old school touch, they even look nice on the new vettes also.

Compare to willpac https://www.carid.com/willpak/alumin...76478122216196

Similar product a additional 6th louver may Hinder slightly more the rear brake light in the rear window unlike the MRT, costs like 460$. Louvers can look nice on mustangs and challengers also.... I have a ZL1 rear spoiler prepainted from ebay with the third brake light in it also so I have double brake lights in the middle I retrofitted. Just some thoughts, plastic IMO kind of looks cheap and not something I would do ...there was no plastic really in the 70's etc..... Good Luck

Sorry, just catching this... thanks for the props. That rear diffuser is a modified ZL1 Ikon diffuser I bought from EBAY. With my 3dCarbon rear slats, it wouldn't fit - so I had to cut it (had a thread about it not too long ago). Wanted something for my quad tips and finally someone made one I liked.

If you don't have the rear slats (either GM or 3dCarbon), it will fit just fine with your 1LE quads. Just know that this item doesn't have the top tabs that lock onto your bumper. Had to use self tapping screws to hold the top up (which I will eventually cover with a matte or CF vinyl strip).

Here's a link for you:

Thanks sir, I will check it out, looks really cool and aggressive, which is what I am looking for. And I DO have the rear spats like the ones you have from 3-D Carbon. I really like the look it gave the car with the ZL1 rockers and Z28 splitter.

That's right you do... I just noticed. That means you will have to cut the diffuser. Dig up my thread if you feel up for it... its got some useful info on how to improve future installations if you have to cut it due to having those slats.

Your ride looks sharp too!

Would you happen to have a contact number or how you purchased your MRT louvers direct.
thanks

Took a few set of these after I installed the MRT Louvers, showing visibility... in case some of you were still wondering.
