Help with zl1 apr splitter install
I recently did a zl1 bumper conversion and I am trying to install the apr splitter that is specific for the zl1 bumper. I drilled the holes and bolted up the bolts that go on the edges but on the middle theres no way to stick your hand in and get the nut on the bolt because the lower support piece doesn’t give any space at all. So how is it supposed to bolt up? Do y’all guys just remove the support piece and leave it off? I have no clue at this point

I believe it requires the front bumper be removed in order to properly install, at least according to Phastek it does.

I do have the bumper off but the support piece sticks in between the bottom piece of the bumper and the splitter thats part of the lower grill, so it basically seals the area where the bolt comes out through.

You're welcome, it is definitely the way to do this install. Nice strong hold as well my car has seen track and interstate time and not a problem with it.

I couldn’t find the well nuts except for napa and all the had was a pack of 3 so I ended up using some u shaped retainers for the rest. Both of them ended up holding good.
