If recall correctly they coukd not ship the coupes with the special spoiler. But they need to do leak tests before shipping. So they put on a standard stock spoiler for that part & ship that way. The dealership I purchase from contracts with a local company who specializes in vinyl stripes. It is covered by GM for the dealership to have that done. So not sure why the dealership would balk at taking care of you.

Which is odd seeing as the 50th came from the factory with the vinyl applied. But yes, ANY, Chevy/GM dealership should be able to warranty this. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks for all the reply's, It was end of month at work and I had so much paperwork I never got back to see if anyone replied. I finally picked up the car yesterday from the dealer that will not work on it. I am going to have to make a call. I brought it in for 3 things, rear strip, front wiper cowl, and a squeak in the right rear. Nothing was done. the squeak they say is the Borla I put on it. I will check for the 3rd time but I am 99% sure its not. I have checked the exhaust myself and its not hitting anything and is tight. As for the customer service and work ethic at dealerships, its horrible. I deal with dealers with my business everyday on the heavy truck side and I see now that it is the same on the car side. Horrible. The customer service in parts and service departments I would be ashamed to be any part of. If any one of my employees treated one of my customers the way these places do it would be there last day working for me.
One of the main problems in service is if a tech cant make billable time they are not interested in doing any work or looking for the issues. I don't blame them, warranty pays them crap and most of the time looking at issues like the rattle wont pay at all. I just hired 2 techs from a local Freightliner dealer. One was there 10 years the other 7 years at the same dealership. Both had the same story, "We work 6 days a week from 7 am to 6 pm and are lucky to get 20 hours of billable work." These are two TOP techs, Warranty doesn't pay crap and the dealer lines there own pockets not the employees. The service writers are a different story, lairs and rude, They are put in that position by the way the dealerships are managed and in turn treat customers like crap. I could go on and on. the dealer level of most manufacturers needs a overhaul. Customer service has disappeared everywhere and i will not allow it to happen at my place. I have people all the time amazed at how successful my business is and ask how I have made it into what it is. Such an easy question to answer CUSTOMER SERVICE and count the money at the end of the month not every ticket, Take care of your customers no mater how small they may be. Don't lie, admit when you screw up, and communication. Its not rocket science. thanks for letting me rant. Its been a long week.

Ours came in with the trunk decal between the taillights crooked. Noted it on transportation sheet. GM says no decal, they only built enough for the cars. Hope no one gets rear ended!!! Can't believe they don't service it......

Any one else get their hot wheels box? My brother just got a new hot wheels Camaro on 10/5. The build date on it was actually from Nov 2017! What does he have to do to get the box? How long?

Hmm I think you're right and he has the build date wrong. Regardless, is there something he has to do to get the box? Or is it just a waiting game

The box arrived today! My car is number 1755. It arrived at the dealer August 20 so it was a late build
