93 Gasoline, think again??

Saw this article today, thought it was an interesting piece. SS 93 users look out for scams.

Notice the lady has a new Camaro in the video! She doesn't even want to drive it because of Gas Prices, what a shame.

Read the article attached it's not in the video.
Gas stations selling and charging for 93 Octane, but testing shows it's only 90.5 Octane.

Here are the ten states that do not yet have a program in place to test the octane level and purity of gasoline:

Hawaii
Alaska
Idaho
Illinois
Kentucky
New Jersey
Oregon
Rhode Island
Vermont
West Virginia

Glad I don't live in any of those states.

You know with one of the highest gasoline taxes, sales taxes (in chicago) and property taxes and soon to be one of the highest state income taxes, you'd think that they'd spend some of that tax money on what appears to be a very common consumer protection practice...

haha, don't want to sound like a grumpy old man, but yes this year will be a short summer just like 2 years ago! besides the past few days we've had below average temps since the beginning of March rather consistently and this weekend it's supposed to go well below average again for the foreseeable future.

I'm surprised the BP isn't on the list. They advertise all the time that their gas has that "invigorate" crap in it.
