See the USA in your Chevrolet....Camaro

How many of you have taken some long trips with your Camaro?
Was it comfortable and what kind of gas mileage did you get?

I went on a 2100 mile round trip back home to NY last month and found the car comfortable and averaged 24.5 MPG.

Drove 600 miles from Detroit to NYC. Averaged 28.9 MPG going around 70 most of the time.

Driving back to Detroit today! Super comfortable ride. This is a great highway car.

Trips so far:

Niagara Falls, NY to/From White Plains, NY (@ 820 miles round trip): 24.9MPG
Niagara Falls, NY to/from Salisbury, MD (@ 1100 Miles Round Trip): 24.7MPG
Niagara Falls, NY to/from Fort Wayne, IN (@ 840 miles Round Trip): 25.1MPG

Took the KIDS on all these trips. They don't some much like the back seat, but the front seats are comfortable for these trips

Went from Las Vegas to Delaware and then back to San Diego 6 months after I got the car. Wonderful ride. Averaged around 23 mpg. I got the car in December of 2009 and the car currently has 47k on it.

2,239 miles to Oshawa and back at about 28 mpg. I love it, no stiffness, comfortable all the way. The hubby is not totally comfortable but that's ok, it's not his car!

I'm glad to see that the Camaro has been comfortable on all these long trips, 'cause I'm driving from Orlando to Knoxville this week and was wondering how it would be. I've had the car over a year now and my longest trip has been about 50 miles.

My longest trip was from San Diego to Phoenix for Camaro Fest II, about 1000 miles. Averaged 21.9 MPG at 75 MPH. At times I was going over 80 trying to keep up with the group. Very comfortable ride. She will be two years old on August 3rd with 5200 miles.

Longest trip was from AZ to SC and no problems at all, no idea on the gas mileage as it was last year. The longest time driving, other than gas stops, was 17 hours straight, but had I not been so tired and comfortable, probably have could of drove it another 7

Have drove to WA from AZ also and will be doing it again this year, it is really a nice car to travel in and fun at the same time.

1300 miles straight yesterday, 25.4 mpg and real comfy ride. Only issue I had was when the roads got a little bumpy just getting into MI on 196 then 31 I could really feel it but I guess I would have gotten that in any car
