I really want the ZL1, but being practical I might just go with the Camaro SS, even though I want the ZL1 extremely bad, I'm just torn. |

Not sure why you can't decide on your own what car to buy! I can not fathom asking anyone what car I should get. Not now, not when I was 16, not ever. You opened this can of worms. Did you really see it going any other way?

So, as of right now I have a 2014 2LS that I got some months ago. I'm got the means financially to upgrade to either one of the cars listed in the title but I'm torn.

just because you can afford the ZL1 doesn't mean you have to buy it.
will it be a great temptation to speed? YES. will your insurance rate be higher? YES. will your insurance rate go even higher after speeding tickets? ABSOLUTELY! perhaps the SS is just enough for now. when you turn 25, the insurance rate goes down dramatically. THINK.

If I had the money and ability to afford the insurance on a Stingray it would have been that for sure. As much as I love Mopars and my 392 Scat Pack and I had a choice between the 2, it'd be the Stingray all day long. It's a great straight line performance car and a great track car. It excels at everything. Plus the new 8 speed in that thing. A base C7 can run 11.5x in the 1/4 with a 1.70 60ft. Crazy!

If you're that comfy Id get the vette or ZL1. My dd and only car for a few years has been my tahoe and I wanted one so bad when I got it that the gas prices or practicality was offset by my personal happiness. Just my $.02

OP....Stingray is awesome but so is the Z ...Z is the obvious better DD ...so in your situation go Z... With that said I love my current Z and will have it for a long while but if I ever do get something new the Stingray will be at the top of my picks.. Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk |

Have you discussed this with your gf? Since you guys live together I dont think she would appreciate seeing an expensive car in the driveway without being onboard about it (made that mistake)
All im saying is clear it up with her before you jet back to the dealership and spend her xmas present money on another vehicle
