Hi,

I´m visiting California between Oct 07. and Oct 21. and rented a Camaro Conv. from Hertz in San Francisco ( hope to get this exact car !!! ).
Scince I only get my Camaro in April or May 2017 I´m very excited to have the Camaro for two weeks to drive. Highway 1 in a Camaro.....

My wife and I are in San Francisco for three days and then head south on the US 101 via Monterey, Carmel, Oxnard, Santa Barbara, Malibu to Los Angeles where we stay for again three days. Then further to Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon, back to Vegas and then off to the east Coast to join a wedding of my nephew in Fredericksburg VA. After that 2 days in New York City and then back to Germany. In Los Angeles we want to visit MRR Wheels and may be Eibach.

Are there any meetings in California while we´re there ? Would be nice to meet some of you guys in person.

We're in a house in Beverly Hills. Have plans to visit Santa Monika, Venice and Hollywood. May be some Film Studios... And MRR Wheels

Scroll down and you'll find a list of a ton of different events in SoCal. You can just see what's in your neighborhood while you're there. Most are pretty cool to checkout and see the different cars.

I'll second diirk's suggestion, on any given weekend day in SoCal, there are multiple car events taking place all over the area, some are specialized to certain types or model year ranges, and others are geared more toward the general enthusiast.

If you are going to be in Southern California early on a Saturday morning, I would strongly suggest Cars & Coffee Aliso Viejo. It happens every Saturday morning from about 6AM until about 9AM. I have had my Camaro out there once, but I have been attending for years. And you'll see everything there from Model T Fords to supercars worth millions. Some car celebrities often show up there, and the atmosphere is casual.

Thanks so far. Sounds interesting to me. I´m in Los Angeles from Oct. 13 to Oct 16. My thougt was to meet some guys from this forum.
I also join a motorbike forum for Kawasaki ZX-12R. I have planed a lot of meetings in the Alpes and Dolomites ( very curvey mountain roads ). We had up to 74 people driving around in little guided groups and having a party after driving. It´s fun to meet face to face instead of only posting in threads so I thougt it would be nice to meet some of you in person when I´m visiting California

But I keep these meetings in mind, thanks a lot

On Oct 16th, there's also cars and coffee malibu and/or supercar Sunday. That's usually how I spend my Sunday morning (;

landed yesterday evening in San Francisco and got a Camaro 5th gen V6 Convertible from Hertz
not the car I wanted but it's OK
