I'm annoyed because I would like to make use of some sort of discount for my 2SS on order.

I was going to get the gm graduate discount but my car will not be delivered before the 2 year window expires...so I won't be able to get this discount.

I'm now a member of a credit union but probably won't get that discount either because on gm's website it says that to get the discount you must take delivery by 3/31/09......which isn't going to happen either.

Anybody have any ideas for me? Has anyone heard of the credit union discount being extended?

If you're a(n eligible) credit union member you get GM supplier at any time on any vehicle allowed by GM. Being that it's been stated GM will allow all discounts on the Camaro, you should have nothing to worry about. Once again, remember your dealer does NOT have to honor any discount.

You do realize there is little to no wiggle room in the price right?

Parts are going up.. labor going up.. inflation. Your lucky the MSRP's are what they are IMO*.

My Credit Union Supplier discount that I printed out says it's good through 8/29/09.

I believe Classic will honor at least the supplier discount. At least that is what Mike Carnes told me when I went in to get mine. He even brought it up that I should get the supplier discount because of where I worked. I know you are going to call them tomorrow. Sent me a PM and let me know what they said.
