Solo cats + exhaust

I've been looking into solo high flow cats and I think I'm ready to spring for the buy. I was just wondering if there's a specific exhaust that goes well with the cats. I have an axle back flow master but I'm ready to upgrade. Any advice is appreciated.

I just ordered both also. Cant wait until its at my doorstep. I have never heard the setup in person but after listening to Roll The Dice video and a few others with just the exhaust it is the best sounding i think.

I have had Solo's HFCs and their Mach XL cat back on stock manifolds for about two weeks now and i can tell it freaking awesome. It gets better sounding every day. Its got this interesting deep hollow metallic rumble. Just sitting at idle sounds down right mean and since it had j-pipes there is no drone.

This video doesn't really do it justice, but check it out.

Edit: Sorry, didn't realize I was in the V6 forum! I have the 8, but I am sure their stuff for the 6er sounds awesome too!

Here is my question (and I know there might not be a solid answer quite yet): I know these are not supposed to throw a cel, according to Solo and the members who have them installed. But with a CAI, ported throttle body and axle back exhaust, will they still not throw a cel?

I have cold air by CAI, the throttle body and no CEL with the HFC's...an axle back or cat back shouldn't throw any CELs...so you are good to go.

The Solo high flow cats are a great additon to any catback or axleback on the market. They will add an element of rawness, more volume and some solid power! Great substitute to long tube headers.
