Gift ideas for the Mrs.

times running out. Christmas is almost here. and like every year i'm still without a gift for my wife. together 14 years, married for 3. we just had our first baby in july. the sweetest little girl ever!.

she always gets clothing or jewelry. last year I bought her a laptop. I was thinking a full spa treatment. Cant really pull off the new SUV in such short time, and i'll be buying my new sierra in January when built. so that will be a little while.

what are some good ideas? something I wont need to have shipped. what has gone over well for some of you in the past?

shes 29.

she asked for a carpet vac/scrubber since the baby spends a good bit of time on the floor now. with our dog and cat. I don't think a vaccum or any cleaning tool is a good gift tho. sure she can get it but not as a gift.

yeah, I wouldn't get her a carpet scrubber, like you said, that is a good thing to get but not as a gift.

You obviously know your wife better than anyone on here, so you'd know best! But I think a spa treatment would be a great gift especially since y'all just had a baby. Coming from a 20 year old girl, I always like getting "different" gifts. Not that I dislike getting clothes or jewelry, but it's nice to be surprised when I open up a present, instead of getting the same thing over and over again. So I think the spa would be great. Good luck!

I know you mentioned Jewlery but I get my wife a gift from Tiffany's and when she gets that little turquoise box she is always overwhelmed. I've been at it for a few years and have given her the collection of a couple different lines.

But, when I was younger with little kids one of the things I did was get a collage of pictures done in one of those frames with all the different little pictures in them. It may not seem like an extravagant gift now but I can tell you after the kids grow up and move away she will still enjoy those pictures every day. It'll be a home run gift that will pay back for decades.

This is small, not a main gift, but more like a stocking stuffer. Belk, and I'm sure other department stores, have these thick warm socks for women in different colors. They aren't wool, it's a poly blend so soft. Anyway, I've bought several for the women in my life to just wear around the house.

Get her all the appropriate training / permit for her ccw. Might not be the perfect gift, but deep into the idea of the gift, you want to be able to protect her when you are not near her.

My wife gets finger printed day after Christmas.

Pandora bracelet with some charms of special moments you shared with her. That's what I did for my girlfriend's birthday and made shopping for Christmas easier since she can add to that.

Get her a Z/28......women love Z/28s.

Naw....a spa day is good. My "go to" gift is a massage and mani/pedi gift certificate. Or you can just leave with the baby for the weekend....give her some alone time without you nagging her!
