Well, I love this car!

I picked up my 2SS/RS Red Jewel Tintcoat 24 hours ago. It took me about 30 miles to get use to the clutch, after that everything about the car is great. Everything I read about the car is true, tons of power, easy to drive, and everyone wants to look at it any where you stop. And I was going to buy a Mustang GT, so glad I didn't. Thanks Chevrolet.

Glad you like it. I have only found a few very small things I do not like. The car gets an a+ in my book.

It'll take you a lot longer than that to get used to the clutch- and that's normal. I've had two previous Z28's and an 04 GTO and this bear is totally different. Just wait until you're going up a steep hill and get stuck waiting for a red light...

In any case, enjoy your ride as I'm sure you are.

y'all think the clutch is trickey? I see no issues with it. I don't like the sloppy shifter though... hurst to the rescure. (in the box, waiting to install )

I thought it was for the first couple weeks- could drive it in my sleep now. When I spoke of the incline, I was thinking how the first few times I actually broke the rear tires loose; needed to play a bit with feathering the clutch. Nothing crazy, just an observation on my end.

I had an LS2 M6 Corvette before this and i think it was very similar. My wife does not. She thinks this is much harder to drive... to the point that she now will not drive it b/c she messed up a couple times. A couple 2nd to 1st shifts instead of 3rd... I know... don't ask! Also she cant get over how I am 100x more anal about this car then i was with the vette.

Congrats and enjoy the ride of your life...

Very cool color choice...I have the RJT too, and believe me when I say that you will get just as many compliments on the COLOR of the car as you do about the CAMARO!!!...

CAN YOU SAY PERMAGRIN?!?!?!
