Lingenfelter Lower Ring - Torque Spec?
Anyone know torque spec off hand for the 3 bolts that fasten the lower ring to the ATI balancer?

16ft/lbs or 28ft/lbs + blue loctite. My bolts were the "ferry cap" type or 12 point so 28 ft/lbs.

Cool, thanks. Had balancer installed couple weeks ago; accessory drive looks great and is tracking true, but the blower ring looks like it has wobble. Was going to remove the outer ring and reseat/replace to see if that helps.
That's what I get for not doing the job myself Paul...

Ugh... I've got a T40 socket at home; what the heck is a ferry cap? Is it just a T45 socket?
Looks like I'll need to make a trip to Sears... Also, what is the offset hole - wondering if this is something the shop could have screwed up? Paul...

The balancer has the same line and they have to be exactly in the same place...obviously, there are three different positions this could be. So, just make sure the offset hole is in the same place on both. It is a 12 point head and I always used a 10mm "metwrench" socket that grips this peculiar ferry cap. I am sure there is a perfect socket for it, but I don't have it.

Ok, took blower ring off this morning - here's what I found:
There are 12 total holes on the balancer that connect to the hub. 9 holes are countersunk and are used for the T40 flat head bolts, and the remaining 3 holes are larger and match the 3 ferry cap bolts supplied with the Lingenfelter ring. Here's the problem... the "offset hole" on the balancer is on one of the countersunk holes, not on one of the 3 larger holes for the ferry cap bolts. The best I can do to align the "offset holes" on the balancer and blower ring is to be off by one hole. Is this a problem? There's no way I can perfectly align the "offset holes" since the hole on the balancer requires a smaller, countersunk T40 bolt and the hole on the ring requires the larger ferry cap bolt. Curious to hear if others have run into the same thing? Paul...

ring laying on balancer to match "offset hole lines". I have it laying so you can see the word offset on the balancer and ring.
