I used to be Dragoneye...

Just for kicks and giggles....
I decided to "Build-and-price" a CTS-V Coupe to as close as I could get to my ZL1's options...
Turned out to be $69890 MSRP!! ...$3400 of that came from the Recaro seats that HAD to be ordered if I was to get suede steering wheel and shifter...satin black wheels were another $800... Wonderful car...but I'm starting to see how the two were differentiated in the marketplace. |

So about $10,000 to $12,000 over a ZL1. I do wish they had included the cooled seats from the CTS-V.

It's a Cadillac, the ZL1 is a Chevy. That should answer your question right there.

However, a ZL1 with 10k of mods... evil beast. I just wonder if there will ever be a performance package. NOT that we need one, but if one can go to far, he might as well go WAY THE HECK too far. . .

I'm really hoping GMPP offers something for the enthusiast who doesn't want to throw their warranty out the window. There would definitely be a market for it, especially with this type of car.

There's one in the Chicago area that also has a black roof rack installed on it. You would think it would look ridiculous and detract from the appearance, but it just look awesome. Most badass utility vehicle ever.

I agree 100%. The gt500 has plenty of factory optioned/warranty performance packs including upgraded blowers. I think it would be wise.to jump on that. The problem is that gm is sticking to their blower design (inverted) which would make a swap not as straight forward as it is on the gt500.
As for the V wagon: baddest muthafin' wagon ever!!!! I love that thing... especially with the factory black wheels abd yellow calipers! Wow!! All it need is a drop and about 800rwhp! The coupe is ok, but it is growing on me... especially the new metallic red/maroone. Sexy color and yet sophisticated at the same time!
