Wink I had to defend the Camaro last night at a party

I've been a member for quite awhile but still have no Camaro but I plan on ordering one this summer so I said this last night at a family party and a 14 year old kid says "please don't do that that , they are way ugly and why buy a American car" , now that puts me in "defend mode" so I tell him that's his opinion and he keeps on me saying American cars are junk and that he loves European cars and precedes to show me cars he ilkes on his lap top. After showing me I said now let's look at a few Camaros and take him to Camaro5 and show a few members cars , well now he is saying "that looks nice" "oh cool" and "sweet" I could tell his tone has changed on the car ..... lol , I don't think I changed "him" but I had to set him straight a little , maybe a ride in a camaro would change "him" a little more
Just thought I would share

To e technically correct the camaro is not an American car. It is assembled in Canada

You should have asked the kid what European car would offer the same performance for the same price as the camaro..
I also like the Porsche 911 GT3.

Actually it's a global car...designed in Australia, assembled in Canada, with parts from all over the world by an American company that is partially owned by every US taxpayer.....

Yeah I knew that but I still look at the car as a American car , Toyotas are built here but foreign to me

I can't blame the kid over his mindset. 90's babies grew up in the worst era of American cars

if hes 14 he probably didn't get into cars until he was 8 or 9 and by that time the cars that was out was considered "cheap american" cars that broke down all the time still. So he probably got the influence from that. Plus most younger guys are into the fast and furious crowd

That's what he was saying that American cars are junk , I'm sure if he had a ride in one he would at least like camaro , maybe not buy one but respect it
