Fast and Furious 6

Just thought i would let you know that on May 7th in Leicester Square it is the World Premiere of Fast and Furious 6, before the show they want a select few of hand picked modified cars to be on display.....Well im happy to say that a Camaro will be there.... thats right mine is going to be there, hopefully to have pictures with the stars. I can tell you that i cannot wait.

Bumblebee along with Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwanye "The Rock" Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez.

There is no guarantee that the stars will be there for pics, but still such an awesome event for it to be asked to attend.

I will be taking my camera, so i will post them in here afterwards.

With have a magazine over here called Fast Car, basically about cars modified and car shows etc. There facebook page had an advert about it, so i entered my car told them all about the mods. Got a phonecall saying that they would love to have the car there, sent me an email with all information about what will happen on the day.

Sounds like a good do Tom. Just one point worth asking is how they intend, to arrange/look after your cars. I've done a few of these type of events with the Delorean & some can be a little worrying.
I've had p**d up idiots thinking it's ok to either sprawl all over the bonnet or just simply get inside & mess with everything, without even asking.
If it's well organised you should be fine though.

Yea i have attended an event before where it got damaged and that was with a cordon around it :/ But this one seems very professional, states that there will be 10 event organisers contracted to Universal the film company, states that the square will be open at around 2pm for people to look around the cars, cars should be locked, at all times unless i am in close proximity to the car and happy for it to be unlocked more details are sent closer to the date.

Like any 'Comic'CONvention-like event, you need at least 2 Handlers or Assistants per Item/Person/Prop :-)

Just recieved another email in regard to this event so i may need support on the day, i will post it in here and possibly on the main forum, it reads as follows:

Hi All,

Hope you’re well and enjoying the sun?

We’re getting closer to the big day and we’re all very excited – hope you are as well.

I will be ordering T-shirts for you and your co-pilot on Monday, so it would be great if you could send your sizes and let me know if you’re bringing a male or female co-pilot on the day.

Here is a little information about the competition we will be running at the event:
We will be asking Fast & Furious 6 fans at the World Premiere to choose their favourite car from our display models in Leicester Square.
Fans will vote for their favourite car through a QR code which will link through to the official Fast & Furious Facebook page (2 million UK followers). Fans on Facebook will also be able to vote for their favourite car and be in with a chance of winning fantastic prizes.

We are asking the drivers of the car to be their cars ambassador and encourage people to vote either on the ground or on their own social media pages. The cars will appear in a live leaderboard and the owner of the winning car will also win a fantastic prize!!

We will be doing Facebook posts and Tweets in the run up to the premiere highlighting some of the cars so the display cars will be seen by millions of people the world over.

So not only will you receive a goodie bag (1 per car) with cinema tickets and cool Fast & Furious gear - you will also be in the running for a much bigger prize !! It’s just about getting people to vote for you on the day and on the Facebook page.

I need a little more information about your car for it to take part in the competition, it would be great if you could send this with your t-shirt sizes:
- Top Speed
- Max Power
- Acceleration

I’m very much looking forward to meeting all of you and seeing your cars in the flesh, we will have so much fun !
