Install Cost for suspension

I have more money than time right now so instead of installing my 1LE parts I may just pay someone to do it. Roughly how many hours or the final dollar amount were you charged? I may just have the shocks/struts installed and do the rear sway myself later when I have time. As far as the front sway, I’ve read it’s not really essential to go more than the stock bar on my 2SS.

Just speculating here, but with my limited experience I can do the whole front and rear suspension (remove and replace) on this car in ~12 hours in the driveway, so I suspect someone experienced with a hoist and air tools could do the whole car in 8 hours or less - a day's work. So, maybe $1000?

If you were a little closer I'd say stop by our shop. We'd probably charge you $500 to swap out the springs/shocks and rear sway

Well this is looking like it’s going to be more costly than I thought. These seem to be easier to install on my old LS1 which frankly wasn’t that hard so I figured around $400 ($100 per corner) but the estimates I got were at least $200 more.

I’ll just get my old self in the garage, lose a couple days of weekend fishing and do it myself.

Heck, pay a good shop to do it right, and still go fishing! Win-Win!!

The front sway bar is a little challenging to install, the rear sway is too simple.

Hello, I need help with this question of cost.
I'm in Los Angeles and have received quotes for front and back struts at $1600 and $2200.
I'm a 63 yr old woman so doing it myself is not an option.
Are these reasonable quotes?
Both shops are reputable, but I would definitely go with the $1600.
Just want to know if this is really the cost of the parts with installation.

Even if you did it yourself, it still has to go to the shop anyway for an alignment. that's 89-125 bux right there.
