Ran a 392 challenger and 2012 Boss 302 today.

So I went back to the armdrop drags 3 hours from where I live. Its at an abandoned runway that mostly used for drag racing and some autocross. Its far from the perfect strip but I enjoy the heritage of the place. The airport has been closed since the late 60s. As a comparison time 4 hellcats on street tires were averaging 12.4 to 12.7. Traction wasn't great at all....we all suffered the same. This is the first time they announced your et..no slips ..you had to have someone listen for your time so they could tell you when you came back to the pits. Anyway had a blast.i averaged 13.4 to 13 .7 all day long. Beat the boss by 2 lengths...13. 7 to his 13.9. Then came the 392 challenger. My tires are shot. We are both autos...I treed him..i took a car and a bit lead spinning most of my 60ft. He came on at the big end to beat me in the last 3 ft of the track. If It had better tires I may have been able to hold him. I ran 13.4 to his 13.3..It was an awesome day. Im just telling you how it was...that's why I gave the hellcat times to compare..it was far from the perfect scenario for traction...but every car and driver suffered the same. I fully understand now just how big an advantage..or disadvantage you have with good and bad tires. My car ran flawless all day....I really tried to run one of the hellcats....they would only run each other..or the vipers that were there.

The challenger..I couldn't tell but I think it's a scat pack by the yellow badge on the fender....sure came on strong on the top end.

Well then im happy with my recent tune. i think he was a little upset...he asked to run again right away...i was going to ease into the throttle to see if i could reduce spin and hold him off .....he just blew the tires off on the next pass...i didnt see him after that.

Ahh ok, cause I didnt think a stock SS Camro could outrun a Boss 302.
