Greenhornet2... what is your suggestion in fixing the code in question? Is the comment above for the idle learn correct? And if I have the throttle body cleaned will i have to complete throttle idle learn process?

I'd have to look up the learn procedure i don't know off the top of my head. I doubt A throttle body clean is going to make a difference, the two sensors are seeing two different positions/voltages. Throttle body / motor would need replacement.

99.9% u need a throttle body assy. clear the dtc. Check the connection. Wiggle the connector see if it acts up

The TP sensors have opposite functionality. TP sensor 1 signal voltage decreases and TP sensor 2 signal voltage increases as the accelerator pedal increases to wide open throttle

Learn Procedure

Note: Do NOT perform this procedure if DTCs are set.

1. Start and idle the engine in PARK for 3 min.
2. With a scan tool, monitor desired and actual RPM.
3. The ECM will start to learn the new idle cells and Desired RPM should start to decrease.
4. Ignition OFF for 60 s.
5. Start and idle the engine in PARK for 3 min.
6. After the 3 min run time the engine should be idling normal.

Note: During the drive cycle the check engine light may come on with idle speed DTCs. If idle speed codes are set, clear codes so the ECM can continue to learn.

♦ If the engine idle speed has not been learned the vehicle will need to be driven at speeds above 70 km/h (44 mph) with several decelerations and extended idles.

7. After the drive cycle, the engine should be idling normally.

♦ If the engine idle speed has not been learned, turn OFF the ignition for 60 s and repeat step 6.

8. Once the engine speed has returned to normal, clear DTCs

I had the same issue. I replaced the Throttle body with one from a 2011 Cadillac STS.
I did not have to re-learn anything, the car was well a-sleep before swapping it out.
After putting it on, it started right up, no problems idling. Been running it for over a
month now, no issues. I bought a brand new accelerator pedal assembly too, which
now I do not need.

If you changed the MAF sensor for this condition i’m sorry but you wasted your money, no two ways about it. The DTC’s are in no way related and while a reduced engine power msg can occasionally trip a false MAF DTC from time to time it is definitely not the issue for a P2135.

Cleaning the TB will not repair the condition.

In case you havent solved it yet, I had the same issue. It ended up being the pigtail that plugs into throttlebody, not the TB itself. I cut off the old connector and about 6 inches of wire and spliced in a new one.

I am actually having this issue. However I am not too sure what it could be.
I was already having electrical issues with the car. I do have a aftermarket TB (NW 102mm non- Boosted) and the other thing I can think of it was damaged when I hit almost 11lbs of boost. But I just ordered a new TB but the boosted version so I will let you know if that will fix the issue.

Hey, I´m from Germany and have the same problem...
2010 SS L99 with Magnusson SC.
P2135 since a while. Already changed TB, Accelerator Pedal, MAF, and even the ECU...

Any solutions here so far? I´m almost desperated!

Thx for any advice!
