i will make this run.
tribone as the date gets closer you should set up a meeting place for the la and oc camaro5 members to meet so we can have a large showing as we arrive. it doesnt make sense to meet in just one place, lets set up a meeting place in south la county for the la county camaro's to meet, a north oc spot and a south oc spot this way we just meet people along the way.

Ideas:
1. My 2010 Camaro, as well as a 2nd and 3rd Gen owned by Curtis Darnell from the "Camaro Club of San Diego" (http://camaroclubofsandiego.org), were part of a local San Diego Band's video shoot this last Saturday morning, January 23rd...the group Deaf Zero (http://www.myspace.com/deafzero) has a song titled "Four Camaros" which can be heard on their MySpace page. The song can be downloaded from the DigSTATION website at this link (http://www.digstation.com/AlbumDetai...D=ALB000042257)

When the video is finished editing this week, I will get a copy, so do you think we could show it during the JJ "mix and mingle" time?

2. For the cruise south from JJ Chevrolet (or perhaps during some other Camaro event in San Diego), there is a very nice location I found...the Mission San Diego de Alcala (http://www.missionsandiego.com). I can upload some ground-level photos, but to get an idea you can Google it and then "zoom in" to where you can see what looks like a 6-slice pizza parking lot! I was there on Saturday, and counted space for ~20 Camaros around the circular center (has a fountain) and room for another ~20 Camaros on the inside edge of the "pizza box" parking lot. That lot was actually closed this last weekend since one of the huge trees must have been toppled by the storms that blew through SoCal and they were still cleaning it up...there is a lower parking lot, so I am thinking I could ask to "reserve" that lot for a 2010 Camaro event one morning! Thoughts? For anyone who wants to tour the Mission, there is a $3 / person donation...I can ask if that could be $3 / car!

3. I am going to post the JJ March 27th event on the local Camaro Club of San Diego's Forum to see if we can get some Classics to attend...I think a tribute to the 2010 Camaro (5th Gen) is not complete w/o including 1st - 4th Gens!
