SOMEONE TRIED TO STEAL MY CAR.....AGAIN - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Awhile back someone tried to steal my car while I was at a bar. This time they tried to take it in front of my apartment building. So I getting ready to call it a night around 1am. And someone start banging on my door screaming they trying to steal your car. It's my neighbor she stays in front facing the parking lot. Unfortunately I'm in the back of the unit so I can't see my car. So I jump up put on some pants and run outside without a shirt. It was freezing last night in GA but I was hot/heated. My neighbor heard a car driving around a few times so she look out her window. And see the car, a dodge mini van with rims stop in front of my car. And a person hop out at first she thought it was me until she see the person has a slimjim or something in their hand. So see come yelling and the person heard her and they drove off. Long story short, I called the cops did a police report. The officer told me just befor I called they receive a call the same people in the jump out van tried to steal a challenger in a nearby apartments. The damage is not as bad as the first time but its noticeable. I found this funny they tried to use a cloth hanger. They left it next to the car in they failed heist.

The first time they popped the key entry so I have it removed. I'm thinking if I had it replaced they would have got the car. Here's some pics of the damage from the first and now the second.

I don't think so. The first time was at a bar where I only been twice and it's not close to where I live.

Man that sucks. I would be pissed. Did your neighbor get a look at the plate or something that stands out on that van. I would be keeping an eye out.
