Installed Scosche kit with Nex4500

I installed the farc kit and alpine 5 channel amp with kicker sub last year but couldn't get decent bass from the factory head unit (bass roll off). The system sounds much better with a clean signal. Scosche kit works great so far. Touch screen is very good quality. The factory Boston speakers are good enough with the added bass. Also have android auto and Google maps navigation now.

Nice! I haven't seen that kit before, finally something that may be worthy of swapping out the mylink. I may have to add this to my future mod list.

I heard the 1st generation kids had some problems but this one seems to work perfectly so far. It also has the little speaker Built-in for the turn signals which is kind of nice. I was surprised at the quality of the touch screens they seem to be pretty responsive. The whole system sounds much better now

The blinker sound is software adjustable also which is nice. It's a tight fit with my removable face pioneer. Installer had to chop some plastic. A non removable face is easier to install he said.

The bottom panel is made of 2 parts with minimal plastic spot welds. It seemed pretty weak so my installer used an epoxy or similar glue to reinforce it on the inside. Maybe not required but we had to put the unit in and out 5 times to get the adjustment right so I wanted to strengthen it a bit.

Here's mine. Heated seats are there. The option won't display if the car isn't equipped with them.
