The track prep was fantastic(compared to the normal)! On Chinese $90 primewell 245/40R18 tires cut 2.1 60 foot, which is decent IMO for the tires.

It kills me when guys show up at the track with 22" wheels. With my wimpy (360 rwhp) I have fun beating guys running 22" wheels with full bolt ons and supercharger making over 500 rwhp.

Note to Camaro5 members - don't drag race (don't do any form of racing) with 22" wheels.

A full bolt ons L99 (stock wheels and tires) should be in the mid 12s @ 111+ mph.
Drag radials (12.1 - 12.4s @ 111 - 112 mph).
My best trap (bolt ons) is 114.9 mph with 20" wheels (ran 12.16 on that run).
My slowest (bolt ons) trap speed is 111 mph in summer heat (+2000 ft DA).

I'm sorry but this g35 can't be stock.Hes running 350z times and weights 300 lbs more.Hes on the cobalt forum bragging about hes as fast as a ss l99 lol.

Let him brag about his 102 mph trap speed.

It's the L99 A6 that's running poorly. It's off the pace for the conditions. It's getting off the line slowly (lack of launching skill) and it's not pulling hard going down the track.

With a decent 60' time, it should run low 13s in those conditons.

The L99 A6 needs a tune. Should be a high 12s sec car with tuning and a good launch.

i like fast cars but this car is scary fast, this is the only car i have ever seen that was actually worth bragging about. i will be sure not to race this rocket

The L99 was there for 6 hours, over 20-25 runs on and off all night. He tried performance mode, manually shifting, letting it shift by itself, etc. He raced me in auto mode with tcs off (he was getting 2.2 and worse 60 foot with tcs on). Towards the end he got 3 13.5 runs in a row. The DA was 500, letting the car shift for itself.... So that basically detracts from it being the drivers fault or the tracks fault IMO. If he was going to run 13.0-13.3 he wasn't going to do it with the power he was making, 103-104 traps. My friend ran 13.3 @ 105 in his I/e/t SRT8 charger so the L99's times were respectable IMO.

BTW guys here's the all time 1/4 mile record for stock G35 auto, I was .1 tenth of a second away. He did 1.9x 60 foot though.
