Same here, and zero drone as well. Even when I run catless for the strip, zero drone then too. Was loud AF before I installed the Magnaflow center muffler though.

Negative, I believe this is the one I had my shop use: https://www.magnaflow.com/products/1...-muffler-12469 I’d suggest that you only let a trusted shop who is good with fabrication do the work. It’s a tight fit that was made worse by my 3.5” aluminum driveshaft. If you’re still running a 2-piece DS it might fit a little easier.

Prior to this, I had stock headers -> stock primary cats -> AWE Performance Link Pipes (secondary cat delete) -> AWE resonators-> AWE Touring. TBH, it sounded outstanding as well. Louder and deeper than stock for sure. If you have / choose this option, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed at all. Overall, AWE has been a solid improvement. Keep us updated and good luck!! |

The 8" long dual center muffler that Josh has.
I was a little concerned about the overall length of the 11" version that Sakudog used for his ZL1 1LE, his photos show he has very little room left at the rear end. I hope the 8" variant will make enough of a difference with my SS and the factory NPP exhaust. Oh, and I need to find a decent muffler shop in the area by the time the part arrives, although I may try the body shop at my favorite local dealership, their service department has been fantastic so far.
