The shifter was responsive as was the clutch, far more than the Camaro (she drove a M6 SS about three weeks prior). She loved how light the Mustang felt and drove in comparison with the Camaro and my Challenger, and how nimble it was.

Overall she felt that it wasnt as stable as the Camaro/Challenger, but was the more well performing of the trio.

As a note she drives an 05 Saturn Ion with a manual 5 speed.

This just in ........... women prefer Mustangs over Camaros

Women preferred the previous generations over the camaro no doubt. Evidence to this is the fact that literally 1 out of 10 cars I see on a daily basis are 99-04 mustang v6 cars. In this area it has to be one of the most common cars around.

But in all honesty it seems that women go crazy over the 5th gen camaro from my experience They usually call it "sexy"

All in all...if you need a car to get women...youve got bigger problems....or should I say smaller LOL.

If I was buying a car to be a garage queen and only drive on the weekends it would have been the Camaro hands down. I think power wise it’s really a tossup, both cars have plenty of power to get around town. While the Camaro has the exterior styling the Mustang interior wins for me. I really like the Sync feature and I feel the dash has a better lay out. I am really happy that Ford and GM are selling cars competitively and it's good for future jobs for our country. I was really amazed with the economy the way it is how busy both the Chevy and Ford dealers I visited.
Man those are both the best colors that you can get for those cars!

The ride was harsher due to the live rear end, but was by far the most nimble and quick of three, but felt less planted than the Camaro. The Mustang very much felt like it was just itching to break loose and go running, very much feeling like you had to to watch it carefully. However it is easy to handle, but care had to be taken.

The Mustang now feels like it is in the quality catagory with Audi and Volvo, and performs and feels like a M3 BMW. I would safely say that I no longer consider it close to a Muscle car, instead, closer to a world class contender, something I cannot in fair mind, say about the Camaro and Challenger.

...
Good review. Just did not understand the part I put in bold. Seems like a contradiction.

Not really.

The ride over bumps and some rough patch of road as a bit more noticable, but the car is able to be thrown into a corner and has so much poise and nimbleness.
