Happy to report we received the exact same letter

I feel for the closing dealers as a human being but as a Chevrolet dealer it is and has been apparent that they were way to over dealered! congrats to you and your team Scotty as well!

So yes, we are honest, WE GOT "A LETTER".......just it wasn't "THE" letter everyone talks about.....but very worthy of sharing to all of you!

First, Scotty, I'm very glad to hear you are being allowed to carry on, and I think you and everyone at Newman Chevrolet are probably very honest and ethical, although, I of course can't attest to that fact since I've never dealt with you. But let's not be naive, that "letter" is not a testament to your morals, but to your bottom line sales figure, just as our letters from Ed Pepper weren't concerned with us buyers' honesty, but simply the fact that we were buying from GM. Unfortunately, I'm sure many less-than-ethical dealerships will remain in business just because of their total sales figure.

What I don't understand is why they didn't name Camaro Scotty in the letter...

Thanks for all the knowledge you shared with us Scotty, I'm glad your dealership will be sticking around so we don't have to start calling you Mustang Scotty or something like that.
