Dyno tune

I installed a K & N typoon air intake a couple of months ago and did a muffler delete (kept H pipe and resonators) today. Im getting a dyno tune in a couple weeks. Any one done this set up? What HP and torque gains did you get? Thank You for any information!!

LS3

It all depends on how good your tuner is. You can probably see gains from 5-15 from the CAI and a bit more with the tune. I would recommend holding off on a tune though until you get more bolt-ons such as headers. I would say between 385-390 with a good tune.

It should make between 385-390 depending on the dyno. Getting a dyno tune even on a bone stock car makes a huge difference in part throttle response and feel. I definitely recommend having a good dyno tune done.

What Ted said. Doing a tune on a mostly stock LS3 wont give you much gains. You are better of saving the money and getting yourself some LTH and then do a tune.

GM ships these cars out pretty choked up , a tune will liberate it, although you wont get much hp gains. it will feel much better though and is worth doing. They can tune your skip shift out which is a big benifit.
