Rag Company Everest 1100 microfiber towels

I wanted an ultra plush towel for application of the Adams H20 Guard & Gloss.

After spending some time researching the different options available, I decided to go with the Rag Company's Everest 1100 16"x16". It's rated at 1130 grams per square meter (GSM).

I used them on an application of HGG yesterday on a friend's vehicle, and they performed exceptionally well, and got no staining from product after washing with Micro Restore.

At 6.90 each, (the price when you buy 5) and free shipping this is a fantastic towel at a great price.

I am including a pic just for thickness comparison , of it next to the MM Dry Me Crazy, which is 1200 gsm.

The MM is on left, RC Everest on right.

Did you buy those directly from them or through a 3rd party? Amazon has the 1100s, but a 3-pack is $25.00 (free shipping with Prime). I recently got a 5-pack of Everest 800 for about the same price, they're also 16" x 16", but only 810 GSM, with a 70/30 blend. Great towels though. I'll have to get the 1100s next time I restock.

I went straight through the RC. They include a "bonus" item with every order and I got a free spectrum 420 16x16, a CD cleaning cloth, and a RC sticker. Free shipping on any $30 order or more.

The 800's are made in south korea as well, and I'm sure are a high quality plush towel, if you get an 1100 in the future, I'd like to hear your opinion on both of them, and if the 1100 is worth the price difference.

The mainstream detailing companies sell the same towels for 3-4 times the price the RC charges, there is no reason to get your towels any where else.

I got one of those as a "bonus item" in one of my orders. I washed it with one of those yellow towels you get when you buy a clay kit, it did "bleed" slightly on the first wash. The yellow towel is my exhaust tip towel so I didn't mind it getting a little discolored.

These towels are fairly plush, but do have a much rougher feel then their Eagle Edgeless Blue (A really good towel which is very close to the MM Crazy Pile), and the Everest 800 and 1100.

I never used it on the paint due to the rough feel of it, but it is an excellent interior towel, it's never shed 1 fiber used with my Ultima Interior Shampoo, and actually has become a little softer after several washes with Micro Restore.

If your going to use it on paint, I'd do a small "test" area first, just to be sure your not getting any marring from it. The towel I got was a darker color one, which was another reason I didn't use it on the paint, can't see any dirt on it if it's there.

got the royal blue, grey, and purple. will definitely give them a good washing and test them first. they say 420 so hoping that is accurate.

got them in and first impression is they remind me of ones you would buy at autozone with the boarders stitched to them. the softness is slightly better than most of the ones you buy at the the auto chain stores. not sure they are on par with some of the Korean ones I have bought in the past but will wash and them and dry before testing them out. was hoping for more initially but after handling some cheep ones they feel a little better. reserving judgement for now

You should check out the CG happy ending Microfiber towels.
Not nearly as thick but super soft fibers.

Do you know the weight of these towels in grams? Just curious what the GSM is. Also it's not listed on the site if they are Korean or Chinese?
