Update....Got it..thanks guys..Now off to store for torx set with larger size for steering wheel and puller....Cant have enough tools.
just remove center bolt. but it is torx. A tap with a nylon hammer to the center shaft while pulling on the steering wheel should pop it off. I'm pulling the column as a whole unit.

Chevy dealer had one in stock, only 30 bucks so a cheap learning experience.......so far. Dash is out and starting on the HUD install. Next time 4 or five threads on that steering bolt!
Also on the communications module and battery, which is mounted above the glove compartment, you can slide the main module (towards the rear of the car) enough to remove the 10mm bolt that holds the bracket that holds the module and battery. (There is actually a second bolt, 10mm at the passenger side front, towards engine compartment, of the backup battery) Bracket slides toward engine compartment off of metal tab, and than can be lower down onto the glove compartment hinge rail, untill you remove the two 13 mm bolts that hold the bottom of the passenger side air bag. After the two air bag bolts are removed, you can temporarily put comm module and battery back in position. Put one of the two 10mm bolts back in just to hold it in place. This way your not pulling the backup battery or any other connectors off of the module. Not sure how much this will save on the backend....

First off, there are now Two (2) 2010 Camaros on the West Coast with HUD now installed and working. Ofer's 2SS and My 2LT/RS. As far as the Steering Wheels are concerned, on both of our cars we HAD to use a steering wheel puller to REMOVE the steering wheel, also it should be remembered both Ofer's car and Mine are Early Order Activity Cars (R6P). The rubber hammer idea did not work on either cars.

Only damage was to hood release, I broke the tab trying to release it. So for now its in with a dab of glue to keep from rattling...

is that as sharp as it gets or did you tune it to get it a bit clearer?

I suppose I should attempt mine since I'm in the Midwest... but I've been too busy cleaning snow lately. The Camaro is all tucked away (covered) in my garage. Would you guys advise buying any service manuals for this? Someone awhile ago said "NO" but I don't want to mess things up.

Good Job guys! I'll have to heat my garage up sometime soon and start on mine!

Well it is dark, and now I know how walt and ofer felt, I'm hungry!! Will have to wait till tomorrow to put the dash pad back in, so hopefully it I can talk my brother to come on down and help put the dash pad back in, so we can get it finished since I need to get to work on Monday!. Just a couple of pic's. Took one from the drivers side, since Guskd was from the passenger side, and yep another yellow one.

To bad they hide the "Aw Sh#t" bar behind the dash pad!

Looks like you left your seats in. I am 6'2" and there was no way I was laying under dash with seats in.

Thats it as far a clarity goes. There is a little bit of ghosting but overall its not bad at all. I will get new windshield later when I get too many chips.
