Not too much demand. On my 2008 Mustang, I was the only Mustang I ever saw with them in 7 yrs.

What bothers me is companies charging 50 to 80 dollars or more for a couple pieces of plastic with a few holes drilled in them.

It's high way robbery I tell ya .

They already exist from GM though. ZL1's fit perfectly on a V6 or SS.

Yup I have the pieces of plastic from RPI think they cost 50$ but they do save the road rash.

Always looking forward to new and improved products! I am not impressed with the appearance of the the factory pieces. Thanks.

Looking forward to seeing what you've come up with and the cost. I have had the ones from RPI on since shortly after buying mine and they work great, have absolutely no rock chips on any of my quarter panels, but I'm always interested in new products.

Do they work with the factory ground effects kit?

I have the OEM zl1 rear splash guards and RPI fronts... Do your side rockers get this dirty too? It's like the dirt goes right through mine.

The only time mine looks anything even close to that is when I've driven through a rain storm or the roads are really wet and then it starts a little further back behind the wheels. The area around my 'gills' doesn't have any chip marks (which it looks like you've got or the flash made dirt look like little chips); as stated, I don't have any chip marks anywhere on my quarter panel or anywhere else except my front clip.

Confusion say, rear mud flaps do-nothing to protect rear quarter panel designs on these cars.

The bottom side of the rear plastic bumper yes, quarter panel, no.

Front mud flaps on the other hand, WILL protect, the entire bottom side of the car from rock chips, particularly the gill area.
