CEL: Random Misfire, Misfire Cyl 2 & 6

Car is running fine. No indications of power loss or problems besides this CEL. Should I swap coilpacks with 1 and 4 and see if it's a coilpack issue? Anyone else had this happen in cold weather? Suggestions?

Thanks all!!

happened to me last month. probably the winter fuel blend changeover try running dry gas and injector cleaner through a full tank mine turned off it was likely to much moisture in the fuel line.

There is a GM TSB out on misfires. It recommends a induction cleaning. Can go the GM cleaner route or a good seafoam treatment.
Probably the cheapest way to start. I'll see if I can find the TSB.

I just dumped some of this in a tank full of No-E. See if it fixes the problem.

Your mods don't list a catch can. If you go the route of the induction cleaning and don't have a catch can then I would encourage you to get one. I have been surprised how much oil collects in my Elite catch can.

Good luck solving the problem!

Ran a tank of mid grade No-E with B12 Chemtool fuel treatment through it. Doing it one more time to be safe. Light has not returned. Fuel mileage has improved. Hoping we may have found the problem. Thanks guys!

I run it every winter now, as my car sits most of the time waiting for dry,
Happy days to take her out.

Your poor car isn't getting enough loving if it's sitting there waiting to go out all winter. Mine loves the snow just not the ice.

The fuel doesn't pass over the intake valves. I sprayed a Chrysler top intake cleaner in mine and it did a fairly good job when I removed the intake, albeit, it didn't get the rear cylinders 5 and 6. Those could be cleaned by the vacuum line from the write up on here.

It seems that was the problem! No CELs since I ran the fuel treatment and I've put about 800 miles on the car.
