What lug nuts are you guys using?

So I went to install some wheel locks and wheel spacers in the rear only to find half my lug nuts are rounded off. What lug nuts are you guys using on your z/28? Also what wheel locks are you using? Is titanium worth it?

I've done a lot of reading on this topic. I realize deterring a thief is the intent, but when I saw how easily even the best wheel locks could be defeated I decided not to bother. If a petty thief is after your wheels then he'll likely move on, but a pro will have them off in 15 minutes. Yes, there are always new and improved versions, but thieves are, unfortunately, highly adaptive.

With that said, if you still want to proceed, check out the Gorilla Guard Lock... it's intended to prevent removal by hammering a lug nut wrench onto the nut and then easily removing. Also, you may want to look at alarm systems that detect impact to the wheels.

Wheel lock are extremely easy to defeat. Anyone can purchase a "damaged lug nut removal tool". I think I got mine at Harbor Freight.

I just replaced my lug nuts with McGard lug nuts.

I replaced mine with the ZL1addons titanium. They are holding up much better then the stock lug nuts. I love the look.
