ZL1 1LE Car Hauler

Looking for a car hauler/trailer for my 18 zl1 1le. Open and aluminum would be preferable based on budget and tow rig (6.2l Escalade). Any suggestions? Would like something with low enough fenders to open the doors and ramps long enough to not take off the front air dams if possible.. Thanks!

I had one of these to haul my Viper to the track with a 2013 Ford Raptor. I bought it brand new for around $6,500 and had it delivered. If I had to do it again, I'd search for a used trailer close to you. I sold the trailer within 1 day of posting it on RacingJunk.com

Looks familiar w the Cadillac and 6.2 . ATC 18’ - very happy with it. Added rock shields and tire carrier after this pic.

We have an 8.5x24 enclosed, and the ZL1 is a tight fit side to side. I'll probably end up winching it in/out, because I don't think I'll be able to crawl in/out.

Trailers are manufactured all over the country because it's expensive to ship them any distance. Check into your local vendors, and you can probably find something within driving distance.

We sometimes travel significant distances to events, and it's nice to have the enclosed trailer for security for the car, as well as tires, tools, etc.

Not aluminum but you get the idea, 18ft steel deck with rock guard and etrack, with fenders short enough to open doors

Ramps long enough to get on without extra wood or race ramps?

I carry enough wood to stock a small lumber department I have some to go under the back tires of the truck and some to go under the trailer ramps, it's probably overkill but I would rather not rip off the front bumper.

Why have I never seen E-track on aluminium trailers?

E-track is a must on my future trailer.

I have an aluminum featherlite 18’ trailer with removable fenders. Looking to trade my 5th gen zl1 for a 6th gen or c7. From my measurements it would be really close width wise. The trailer sits low, and I have the race ramps to help load on the trailer also.

Your doors clear the tires with the fenders removed correct?
