Being a stick car you’ll have less driveline shock on launches with a 15” tire, and better 60 foot times. You can always use the 20” radial to daily and keep a set of track wheels/tires. I drove to the track with one in the back seat, one in the trunk and a jack, swap tires run all night, swap back and drove home!
yeah thats what i figure ill end up doing haha.

Do you know anything about the kit? i am assuming someone sells a complete package for this?
BMR and Carlyle Racing both have kits for a 15" conversion The Carlyle kit is less $$$...

I have the 17" bias ply setup. Yours could be way faster than mine. Get that monster tuned!

Should be on the dyno with all the new parts in about 8 weeks. Just waiting for parts to come in. Engine is being pulled now to send off for its work the driveline parts are gonna take the longest to get in.

yeah, as a dailiy you should be fine. I use Nitto Nt05r in the rears and nt555rs in the front for cruising. Now i am only just above 900rwhp, but i think you would still be fine. I am on the east side of the state, looking forward to seeing it a local meet!

I wouldn't say that...i have seen quite a few Camaros, cts v's and stangs in the mid 9's on 17's. right temps and track prep and anything is possible.

You will be good with a 20” drag radial or the 888’s. Just be careful, going fast at the track gets real addicting real quick!

Are there tracks up there? Went to Saginaw once on the way to Frankenmuth. No one ever seems to talk about the Northeast

i live about 15 minutes from US 131 motor sports park.

There are also 2 road courses one in south haven and one just north of grand rapids and there is a drag strip in Milan but have never been there.
