OBD 2 code reader near Oceanside?

Anybody live near oceanside that would want to come over to my apartment and let me borrow their OBD2 reader so I can figure out what is wrong with my car? I am stuck in reduced power mode "limp mode" and I cant use my car! I would like to try and fix it without going to a dealership if I can!

Have you done any work on the car recently? CAI, headers etc. You can try unplugging the battery for a couple minutes or the fuse pull to see if resetting the ecm helps but if the problem persists the cell will come back on.

If I lived closer I would let use use my EFI Live or HP Tuners.

Here in Cali autozone/pepboys/etc are not allowed to do diagnostics or rent out those tools!!

I have done both unplugging the battery and pulled the fuses! Didn't change a thing!

Mac tools sells a very good reader for $70. It will fit in your shirt pocket.
Great item to keep in the glove box.
Check as many wiring connections as you can and check the pos battery
post under the hood to make sure it is tight.
