i have to tell you that v6,auto and the RS package make for a very nice daily driver/commuter,which is what i was looking for.not planning on street racing or spinning the tires, and the 6 has enough power to get you arrested pretty much anywhere.

Mine is a Cruiser not a Racer and it fits that roll perfectly.

I echo that! Although, spinning tires is well within it's capability....

i love my base LS even down to the stock steelies. i use my car for a daily driver. the manual trans is a absolute delight out in the canyons. I find the power to be a lot of fun 323hp stock that's pretty neat!

i enjoy most that this cars cheap for oil changes and gas. the MPG is pretty good.

the inside of this car beats the hell out of every car i have owned PERIOD.
this includes crown victoria, taurus, mercedes 300e,audi a4 4 door and 2 door convertible, f150, prosche 944,

the cloth seats have nice feel good ajustment the headrest is fantastic even the hard plastic is not as bad as i thought it would be.
some may not like it? i like the base head unit for the radio and the stuff being hidden like blue tooth and other options. i feel safe parking my car knowing its looks so boring no one will mess with it. little do they know GM really put alot of thought and tech in to it. i really cant find one nagative thing to say about MY v6 at all.
id have to really nit pic here...um last owner got some scratches and paint swirls on GM black paint

The RS boys always give me a hard time. They're cool, But they could've had a V-8.

I have a V6, test drove the V8.

On the NVH and acceleration side, I feel the v6 is more like the BMW 328i, fast but gentle(because of lower torque).

SS feels like a race car. The delivery of power is brutal(high low end torque), you hear the loud exhaust.

Cruising on the highway, ss has more NVH.

I feel v6 is better for daily drive, ss is great on the track.

I think small block can have good NVH(the ones on SUV), but on ss, GM didn't really care about NVH.

What do you guys think?

To each their own. I enjoy the performance of my tuned ...bolt on ...geared ....stalled v8. I really get how good it runs when I park my 2016 Honda CRV and jump in my SS.

That's all a matter of opinion. I'll take my V8 over the V6 any day as a daily driver as mine is a daily driver. As rontammy0 said, to each their own.

I didn't buy a Camaro to be like a BMW... a bought a Camaro to have a Camaro. I bought a SS w/ the 1LE package to have that extra rawness too.

I wanted a six but couldn't find one with a 3 speed on the column, so I guess it's 8s with a 6 on the floor.
