Those mag times were with the manual tranny, http://i1345.photobucket.com/albums/...ps14709c1d.jpg[/B] Had it have been a 13.9-14.0 run with a 1.875(probably not possible) or 1.9 60' foot you wouldn't have heard shit from me. Trap requires power. Which is why in my first post I said DYNO this shit! Because its probably a factory freak if its truly bone stock which is awesome. Its gotta be making around 265-270 wheel and those cars typically dyno 245-250 if memory serves me.
Race girl since its a 2013 did you buy this car new or used?

If she was closer I'd go rent a V6 and we'd hit the track but alas I'm too far. If someone in the area is willing I might be willing to pay for the rental at least just because I did come on here and run my keyboard. I aint doing no $500 though.
Trap speed does require power, so if you take into account that maybe her car runs strong anyways, plus nearly -1000 DA, and I'd be willing to bet she's 100 lbs lighter than you as a driver. All of those factors put together, plus driver skill and you can pull a better ET and MPH.

The bigger issue is that you are doubting her 1st but have nothing to go by except for just not wanting to believe it based on your times. Maybe she's just better than you??

Seems like you have issues with her outperforming what you think is believable.
You can defend that your not, but from the outside looking in, you seem very quick to judge and call someone out when you can't back it up with any proof.

I love the fact that she offered up a bet! To me that shows a huge amount of confidence in knowing that she's being honest!

I don't, nor do I think all drivers weigh the same. Add to that your gearing and I don't find it difficult to believe you trap 101.

you could have been 200lbs heavier, and still crushed the fast list record.

Wish the DA in Vegas was as good as there. We'd be lucky to break 3000 DA, on a good day.

Yes, most of them should all weigh within a couple lbs of each other. Unless you have put your Camaro on a diet, and there are a few good threads out there that show how to reduce weight.

The other difference can be the weight difference between you and someone like me.

When racing I was approx. 350 lbs. If for example I put a person who weighs only 150 lbs. in my Camaro and runs approx. the same, rule of thumb this is worth 0.2 seconds in the 1/4.

Every 100 lb reduction in weight is worth 0.1 seconds

Every added 10 hp is worth 0.1 seconds

Both of those above equations are just rule of thumbs.

My dad weighed my car which was 3675lbs with a quarter tank of gas and his friend's son's Camaro, 2013 2LT/RS weighed 3779lbs with a quarter tank of gas as well.

Interesting to say the least.

Same scales?

Anything else in the other Camaro that added weight.

That is 104 lb. difference, and I just don't see that happening.

But I can also add this, a 2LT will have leather interior and electric seats, that will weigh somewhat more than a LS interior.

Also the wheels and tires on the RS could be weighing more than those on the LS.

Not enough to add up to the 104 lbs. But certainly odd.

Same scales. The 2LT/RS came fully loaded (sunroof, leather interior, etc) and his came with spare tire, air pump, and plug kit. My car did not come with the spare (optional), but it came with the plug kit. According to wiki Camaro, the 20" and P Zeros are 11lbs heavier than the 18"and BFG's.

I agree with you that a 1/4 tank vs. a full tank can be as much as 85 lbs.

However,........she says they both had a 1/4 tank of gas.
