How to get the best sound from my V6

Can you guys tell me what I can do to get the best sound out of my V6. I'd like some rumble on start up, and some on acceleration. What do you guys suggest. Also if you dont care put a ballpark dollar amount for the mods too. Thanks in advance.

Solo exhaust $750 for me at the time (2years ago-no j pipes)
Or Longtube headers paired with ARK cat-back. Badass think this comb will cost you close to $1500 I think. Could be wrong

LOL We all have different tastes but beins that OP is from Kentucky I believe Long Tube headers are certainly doable. ARK DT-s will run you just over 1K right now and Stainless Works headers with high flow cats will run you just under 1k if you do some serious negotiating. Personally I love the ARK's. They are simply remarkable.

I have the CAI Inc intake. I've had it for almost a year-no complaints- I doubt anybody else offers better quality. If I didn't have the CAI, I'd be looking at Roto-Fab which has some very cool color options and VR which has a very intriguing design and some claim a 30 HP increase. I personally don't buy it but I'm open to being proven wrong. Lots of ppl like the the Ingen long tube. Where I live we can get a ton of rain and the proximity to the ground that the intake filter is causes me some concern. I'm prolly over paranoid but hey it's better to be safe than sorry.

There are lot's of great resources here so take your time and continue to ask questions and read as much as you can. There are some very knowledgeable people here who are great at answering questions. Enjoy.

Thanks for sharing. There is a whole other aurally pleasing world out there outside of pushrod V8's. That thing is insane.

maybe the LFA exhaust tone probably doesn't match with camaros body LOL, but that tone on that yamaha tuned LFA's exhaust tract is simply music. I can seriously sample LFA's exhaust note and turn it into music. Probably one of the best sounding exhaust note period!
