Seems most people get X-pipes. I just put on the solo performance mach xl catback and it sounds absolutely amazing.

I believe you car comes standard with the best H pipe there is, or at least Janetty thinks so. He is pretty knowledgeable. He says that there isn't much out there that flows better than it either. I upgraded to the SW retro catback that has an x pipe in it, completely love it. Magna Flow makes some good X pipes as well. As far as power goes, I wouldn't base your decision on that. The differences would be negligible.

X pipe for a higher piched sound. .....h gives you a deeper tone........no hp difference between the 2.

H-pipe sounds deeper. Power difference is small you won't be able to feel it but they say xpipe gives a bit more power up top

Acoustically, X-pipe helps tighten up the two cylinder banks. More unison.

Doesn't mean it's better though. Depends on taste, and the character you are building, x vs h that is.

Been dere don dat.

On that note, pardon the pun, skip the straight pipe, and choose your poison.

Personally I like how a H-Pipe sounds. There is no real power difference just sound.
