Anyone preordering? Any expectations?

I’m ashamed to admit that I will be buying.

For three reasons:
I have to use my $20 off next game purchase from Amazon.
All of my gaming friends will end up buying it.
I need something to hold me over till Ghost Recon!!!

My expectation:
It will be the same as the last three games.

I just burned my $20 credit on Need for Speed Hot Pursuit.

I'll probably get Black Ops sometime closer to Thanksgiving when I'm actually home with my Xbox.

I had it preorderd with Best Buy but canceled it the other day. Don't think I will pick it up. Might put it on the christmas list though.

Won't buy, unless I get it for cheap. MW2 still holds me for CoD, although since Reach came out, I really haven't played much else. NFS:HP will be taking over my Nov. this year!

after all the times in mw2 that made my blood pressure rise i wont get black ops, in cod4 andmw2 there was a gun or perk that people misused that ruined the game for me

becomes more arcadey and stupid with each release. I think cod1 had good single player but not the multiplayer was neglected. cod 2 had really good multiplayer but not too developed for game play modes, and they peaked with call of duty 4.

3 was a huge flop by their sideshow company, 5 for the same reason, mw2 began the arcadey crap and this is continuing on with it. bummer. when good series go bad. their whole business model is terrible. they have two developers that rotate pumping out one game each year - only one of which is capable of actually designing a game engine.

they are pigeon holing PC players into some psuedo xbox live player hosting bullshit. if I wanted to play on xbox I'd play on xbox. blah. : P

I am planning on buying it. Halo gets old for me real quick and I am guessing Halo reach will as well. I guess I am a sucker for graphics and guns that look like the real thing (less sci-fi). Makes me want to spend more time at the shooting range.

I know this is a CoD:BO thread, but what do you guys think about Medal Of Honor? just saw a commercial last night and looked good, but my backlog is still pretty big and would rather finish that then buy new games!

YES Nazi Zombies will be awesome with this game, I've heard that the old maps from waw will be used but with new additions and surprises. Not sure if it's true but Der Riese was super awesome and the other levels as well!!!!! The Multiplayer will be insane tho with new additions to perks, killstreaks, etc.... Can't wait and we are less than 1 month away!!!!!!
