How do you park?

I'm not an obnoxious about parking, but I choose spaces in a parking deck that are against a wall, or extremely far away from other cars. And I have come to the realization that there most likely will be someone parked next to me when I return to my car anyway.
Yesterday, I parked at shopping complex. I parked on the side of a building where there were maybe 20 spots open. And yes I did take up 2 spots, just because I don't want to run the risk of someone chopping my paint.
After about an hour, I come back out to find that some dumba$$ has wedged his car up against my driver's side door.
It pissed me off because there were plenty of empty spaces. I was in a hurry an my g/f didn't want me yelling into nearby stores looking for this a$$hole.
So I'm venting here, with you all.
I had to get in on my passengers side. If I had time I would have let the air out of his two tires, and if I was evil natured I would have just cut his tires.
But that's not me. I left a small note of gratitude (ok, I did use a little profanity), but I was livid! I was more mad that whomever this was took the time to park inches away.
I guess if I drove around in a orange dodge breadbox, I'd hate Camaro drivers too.
Done venting. Thanks

I maybe in the minority here, but I always park as far away as possible and always take up 2 spots. It is not to be an A@# toward anyone else, but I find it a little difficult getting in and out of the camaro.Plus where I live there are alot of inconsiderate people and ding other cars.I have even seen people back into other cars and just leave, no notes or anything...just a bunch of animals!!!

Taking up 2 spots is being an ass. It's like saying you own the most important car in a parking lot. Just take up one spot kinda far out but not all the way and you will be fine. It's just a camaro. It's not like it's a Ferrari or something like that.

I try to park next to the employee's cars. They are less likely to be moved for hours

Taking up two spots is a dick move, no matter where you park. I would've done the same thing to you.

I'm with you there. While everyone else is fighting to find the parking spot closest to the entry, I go as far as possible to find space I can part in without being concerned some a-hole is going to throw open his door and ding me (again) because they don't have any respect for anyone or appreciation for anyone elses belongings.

One morning i woke up to find my parking garage full. I normally park one floor up where it is empty. I had to do the passenger door climb through in a business suit for work. i was not thrilled and of course the car that did it to me was some girls sh*tbox of a car that was all mashed up. I think i had like 6 inches from my driver side to hers. that day sucked.

I have to agree with your reasons for wanting to park across two spaces.
A-holes have no consideration for anyone else's property. It doesn't matter whether is a Ferrari or a piece of crap. Unfortunately no matter how considerate you are by parking where no one else even planned to park, you appear to make a statement of being arrogant. I think that way when I see Mustangs and Challengers parked in two spots (but Camaros are okay)

I think it goes with the territory where we live in the GTA( greater toronto area).Just too many cars/ too many people and alot of a@@es that don't respect or care about anyone elses property.
If I can avoid taking my camaro to some parking lots/ shopping centres, all the better.
Sometimes I take my winter beater so it can take the beatings and my vert will stay intact.
I have seen various cars take two spots, sometimes even four spots...mustangs,challengers,vettes,cadillacs,bmw' s etc.
